Sail Date: Dec 2016
Cabin: Aqua Class Balcony

I have cruised several times with Celebrity before and I felt, for the first time, that the company took major cutbacks. First, specialty dining prices are now a flat fee of $50; a lot of the Captain Club membership benefits were eliminated; and the food quality in Oceanview Café was subpar, at best. It was almost rare to find ripe vegetables and fresh fruits anywhere on the ship. Further, employees lacked enthusiasm and energy which made the vacation boring. I have always been exclusive to cruising with Celebrity but given my recent experience I will probably start looking at other cruise lines. Plus, the cruise fares for Celebrity are not commensurate with what you are receiving. I think the Company should look into making improvements on some of their older ships. I also think their Captain's Club membership could use some better benefits.

This cruise line will struggle in the coming months if some improvements are not made!

Cabin Review

Aqua Class Balcony

Cabin A1

The cabin was dirty and dusty upon arrival. The room temperature was not consistent throughout the cruise. Linens had tears and rips all over. The carpet smelled like mildew and there were some obvious stains. The balcony was constantly dirty because they would clean the floors above the room and all the dirt would land on our balcony.
