We booked this cruise VERY last minute, so it was an excellent deal.
That wasn’t the reason for going, however. Due to some strokes and other medical issues, my husband wasn’t doing well and we had missed our cruise that was supposed to leave on the 3rd. We were nervous about the lack of pre-planning, since travelling with someone who is medically fragile usually involves complicated logistics.
Royal Caribbean could not have been more accommodating! We were unable to get a handicap-accessible state room, but we had plenty of space. Because of the smaller (these days…) size of the Majesty, we had no issues with getting around, and after the first day there was not much of a wait for elevators.
