My husband and I decided to go on the Fantasy out of Mobile, AL because it's only 3 1/2 hours from home. Travelled to Mobile the day before and stayed at a Quality Inn and Suites (don't do it!!). Called a taxi (wonderful cab driver, Mary) and left the motel about 10:30 as we had 11:00 boarding. The traffic getting off the interstate headed to the pier was horrible (we found out that there had been a gang-way problem and people were late getting off the ship). Luckily our driver knew another way in so by 11 we were going through security and were given Zone 1 for boarding. We were on the ship by noon and enjoying our first drink. We really liked the Fantasy. Is she old? Yes, but everything was so clean. We had a wonderful Cabin Steward, Krishna (E63), who kept our cabin clean and got ice for us twice a day. We enjoyed the Serenity Deck most days and had fabulous bar service. We ate lunch at Guy's most days - LOVE those burgers, and dinner was in the Celebrations Dining Room. Food was OK - nothing to brag about, but I still managed to gain weight! Cozumel was fun as usual - Progreso, not so much. The back to back turn-around was easy as we were the only ones. Came back on and in less than an hour people were boarding. Disembarkation was the easiest in over 15 cruises. Walked right off the ship and was in a taxi headed to pick up our car by 7:45. Will definitely cruise out of Mobile again.

Really enjoyed our cabin because it was so near the Atrium. However, if you go to bed early you might not want that location. Lots or things going on there at night!
