We arrived at our room and someone else's luggage had been there already with our cabin number. We ended up getting that room and I had to find our luggage. At 8PM  I had to find it myself and the reason was that it was sitting on the carpet next to the purser's desk with our ID and room #'s ripped off.No one told me to go up to the sixth floor to retrieve the suitcases. I was on my way up to talk to the purser when I discovered them. Also we had a lot of noise from the kids and teenagers running up and down the halls and banging on the walls. Also, If I had known that there was a lounge above our room we would have never taken that inside cabin. I went to the Princess Captain's club office and spoke face to face to a rep and then I got a call from a man who worked in passenger relations on the ship  to tell me that he would not upgrade or switch our room , but that he would write up the complaint. The beds were sagging and we were not told that we could have gotten mattress toppers until the last day. Also our air ventilation was not putting out any cool air and my husband has been sick right after he got off the ship and now has a virus with a high fever. He went on the ship healthy with no sickness. The ship would not make any concessions and this was the third time we sailed on Princess. We are very disappointed that the ship did not go to Victoiria for some "off the wall excuse about the wind", which I know is not true because we found out that this has happened before, and even though it was a well maintained ship and had some good qualities we are very upset about our acommodations. It is unexceptible for a company who has supposedly a great reputation to do to us what they did. I did send Princess a letter with all of our complaints. The Food, by the way was very tasty, the exercise facility is state of the art, but some of the seminars at the exercise room were quite upsetting because it seemed that the physical instructure was more interested in making money for Princess than really giving us a lecture. He was somewhat hyper and according to him, the food that we were eating was not good for us. Is that a bunch of hypocracy. This is not Whole Foods, Inc. It is a ship to eat what we want and enjoy ourselves and then make the decision if we want to throw away our vitamins and eat all hormone free and non preservative when we get home. Get a life, Mr.!!!! I felt that there was not enough time to do the things that we wanted to do. It was not a relaxing cruise, but I will go again to Alaska to see things that we did not have the time to see. All in all, I did enjoy the nice people that we met and the spectacular  vistas and trips to the summit and the glacier. So, maybe you will get a nicer room with a staff that really works hard to acommodate you and you will be critiquing your experience in a different fashion..Another notation, the music on the plaza level reminded us of the music that was played on the Titanic when the ship was sinking. The music was very depressing. They need more upbeat music like the music they play on the caribbean or hawaiian cruises.Disappointed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin P

The location was next to the art gallery on tht Plaza level where it should have been supervised so the teenagers could not run up and down the hallways until 2 in the AM. The room itself was small, but adequate. The ventilation was terrible, Very Hot..At the end of the cruise my husband left the ship with the beginning of an infection that he got in his sinuses and throat and has been sick since this past Sunday evening. The beds were sagging in P259. Do not take that room unless you get toppers for the mattresses. We did not even know about them. Our attendant hardly understood anything we said to him. It was like he knew very little English.Next time we will not take an inside cabin because of our bad experience. They would not upgrade us to another room or even change the room to another inside. This was the worst room ever on any ship and I have sailed 9 times, 3 on Princess.
