We went of the oasis last year and had a great time so decided to try the new Harmony- bigger, better- right? Not so much. We have been on other cruises (Disney, celebrity, royal) and modestly high expectations and were quite disappointed. We did not see more than a handful of staff that appeared to actually like their jobs. Most were just going through the motions- at the buffet and solarium we were NOT ONCE asked if we wanted a drink. It's not that there were not waiters but none took initiative to actually serve. At the flow rider there were a couple of staff that were absolutely amazing while the others were disinterested. We saw the staff have 3 fights over breaks that held up the line on the water slides, abyss, and flow rider. My-time dining was a joke- we did not have reservations and were told it wasn't mandatory until we tried to eat. Had to fight to get a seat daily and the last night we were told they were full!! For the night. Lol. What were we supposed to do eat? Fortunately we befriended someone in the dining room and got seated within 5 minutes. The ship is great with lots to do with beautiful rooms. If you have experienced other Royal ships, I recommend you adjust your expectations. I sum up our trip as this- we were diehard Royal people and now instead of booking of 2 more cruises onboard we are going to see what other options are out there. Our stateroom attendant was new and really didn't know what he was doing. We asked for 2 wine glasses a day to be brought to our room so he brought us a tray with 20. There was nothing to ruin our trip but definitely lacked the wow factor.

Customer Sevice- to be desired

Cabin Review

Cabin 8662
Room was great - the only thing to consider if booking 8 deck here is it is near dazzles at at times you can hear the music.
