Ship is old but Carnival does a good job keeping it somewhat fresh. Everything was fairly typical, lots of smiles and great service from the Carnival employees. Chef's Table food was not as good as Steak House food on other sailings - that was a big disappointment. The lobster on lobster night seemed to be a notch better than the usual puny tails on prior sailings. Riviera deck had a strange smell, my daughter and I both noticed. Seems typical for Carnival older ships. It's the Carnival employees that make it fun, not the ship so much. Casino was less smoky than usual but the pit boss said that's because people from Puerto Rico don't gamble as much as from mainland US. It was much less crowded than sailings out of Galveston, Ft. Lauderdale and Miami. One night it closed down before 1:30am. I was surprised to look around and see there were only two people playing table games at that point.
