We choose this ship because of the date and where it was going to. We had never gone to Jamaica or to a "private" Cay in the Bahamas. We traveled with our 14 year old and my 75 year old mother. The ship definitely had good entertainment for our teenage boy and probably not so much for "grandma". We did go to all the shows available. Although Pricilla and Burn the Floor were very good shows, they were not conducive for "younger" viewers. The biggest disappointment was skipping Jamaica altogether with no backup plan. Supposedly the captain said we had high winds (didn't seem so from my balcony cabin, but I am no expert).

The ship always felt very crowded and forget getting a lounge chair if you were not on deck 15 early in the morning. Their bargain bingo is a rip off at $20-$70 per card. The extra day at sea we tried this and spend $40 on 2 cards for a $500 prize and they only played once. The place was packed, the people walked out pissed and NCL made some good money. By the way you always have to walk by the smoking casino if you are on deck 6. My husband complain that his feet dangled from the bed. If you are taller that 5' 10'' , get ready to sleep in fetal position.

We were sailing on Christmas Day, and it would have been nice to have religious services since Christmas and Hanukkah coincided this year. A passenger organize one (last minute) and it was nice. However, it was not something NCL thought about.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BD

The cabin was nice and had lots of storage. The balcony was roomy. However if you are tall, your feet might dangle out of the bed (5'10'' or taller). You might also hear your neighbor's toilet being flushed!

Port Reviews

Cozumel

rented a car and went around the island-awesome experience!

Grand Cayman (Georgetown)

Took the local bus and went to the beach with my family- cheap and safe!

Great Stirrup Cay

Just relaxed and walked around. The water was too cold for me in December.
