The entire experience surpassed anything we imagined. Needless to say, we would recommend the Holland America Oosterdam to our friends and family. The cabin was well attended by Anon and Agus---they served our every need and were so courteous and professional. Cleanliness was stressed and carried out. Our cabin was impeccable and our attendants went above and beyond to please us with room service and nightly chocolates! The dining experience was absolutely wonderful. We had the same servers every night and they were amazing. Didit, Marlon, and Arief really took great care of us. The food was well presented and ever so tasty. Christmas dinner was excellent, and we loved the surf and turf. Lunch and breakfasts offered a vast array of delicious items. Service and care for the passengers is 100% consistent. I have never been so impressed by great service in my life. We enjoyed all the shows and the piano bar. We listened to Danny and Justin perform piano duets every night and then went into the BB King Bar. There was entertainment for everyone---even classical piano nights. Congratulations to Holland America. There is nothing but praise from our group of eight passengers. I can't wait to sign up for the next one!
Cabin Review
Deluxe Ocean-View Verandah Stateroom
The cabin was first of all impeccably clean. It was large enough for us to move around comfortably and even had an area to sit down for room service breakfast. I was pleasantly surprised that there was enough closet space for our things and that there was also plenty of drawer space. Doors opened to the verandah which was beautiful. The bathroom was large enough and had space for toiletries to be put away. The air conditioning worked very well and adjusted as needed. Evenings were quiet for a restful sleep and noise from other cabins was minimal. Overall, I give the cabin a top rating!
