Pre-trip - we had to ask for the itinerary about a week before we left and then received it in Spanish. When I asked for an English copy I was told there wasn't one yet a German lady on the coach had an English copy.

The coach journey (from hell) - 10 hours cooped up listening to non-stop female German speakers; then 10 hours on the return - we should have been warned!

Barcelona hotel and stay - good.

Cabin Review

Balcony Stateroom

Cabin B1

On first sight it looked OK but we soon realised how dated and in need of upgrading it was.

The shower had not been cleaned properly for some time and the carpet felt and smelled dirty as did the furniture which was stained and dusty.

The worst thing was the smell of my pillows (ingrained stale, greasy, sweaty) which I asked to be changed three times and I am sure ended up with the same ones even after speaking with the head housekeeper. We have stayed in far better, cleaner and more comfortable 3 star hotels!
