Cruised as it was a Christmas Cruise for 8 days returning on 12/26. Sailed Sunshine two years ago to Mexico and loved it! This is still a nice ship that has been remodeled nicely. About three thousand people which for us is a great size. Great shows, wonderful menu and food. Drinks are high as all ships but we are not big drinkers. This cruise has the best Cruise Director we have had on 12 cruises, Chris The Flying Scotsman! Very talented singer and dancer, upbeat and very keeps everybody smiling. Put on one of the best veterans celebration on a ship that I have ever seen. Yes, the ship is a little older but well maintained and clean. Cabin was great and Ni keep everything very clean. Got there at 1:30 pm and was on the ship within 20 minutes! Disembarkation was just as smooth about 30 minutes after they called our group. We do our own excursions and not thru the ship, a lot cheaper and more to choose from. We are seniors and would do this ship the third time!!!!

Port Reviews

San Juan

Walked to San Juan fort thru the old town. Great!!!!!!

St. Kitts (Port Zante)

Trip around the island. A little on the rough side as the area is a little depressed.

Grand Turk

Went right to the beach by dock. Loved it. Great views, good food, cold beer! Did a little shopping in town.

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Great port to leave from. Clean and easy to get around. Beautiful beach.
