This was our 5th cruise with Princess and we have also sailed on Holland, Carnival, Norwegian and Celebrity. Normally, Princess is our favorite cruise line because the food is always good and has decent entertainment.

The staff were all outstanding, but what was disappointing to us was the food in the dining room and buffet. The dining room menu was limited and they did not have beef medalions on this cruise. There were lots of pasta and shrimp items most nights. We decided we would forego the dining room and eat only in the buffet. The first few nights the food on the buffet was excellent. It was fresh with good variety. Around the third night it began to go downhill. It was the same food recycled. Lots of curries and soups. By the end of this 11 day cruise the food did not look or taste appetizing. My husband loves breakfast and likes baked beans with his eggs and bacon, and he said the baked beans were even watered down and flavorless.

We also noticed a server at the hotdog and hamburger stall putting raw chicken on the grill and using the same gloved hand to then put the hotdog or hamburger together for the passengers.

Cabin BB

The cabin and cabin steward was very good. This cabin is close to the elevators which was great. Cabin was quiet except sometimes we could feel a slight vibration from the engines when travelling at high speeds.
