Cabin: Garden Villa
Traveled with children

We chose this cruise as we had been on the same cruise and ship a couple of years ago, and having had our first child, and first grandson for both sets of grandparents, we wanted to celebrate by doing a family cruise. The Garden Villa is unique in providing a suite with 3 bedrooms, and was ideal for this purpose. The itinerary is really good, especially the stops in St Petersburg and Tallinn.

Unfortunately, 2 problems arose:

Firstly, we booked and paid for the premium drinks and dine around package but these were not provided, and we are having to take legal action to recover the money paid.

Cabin Review

Garden Villa

Cabin S1

Whilst this is an extremely large cabin with huge amounts of outside space, it has not been updated for some time eg the bedhead had been replaced for a smaller one leaving a large faded patch on the wall. Not what you'd expect from the ship's most luxurious cabin.

The 'butler' was very reluctant to do anything. We tried to eat in the cabin one night, but all courses were brought at once and just piled up in the kitchenette with no means of warming the food, so it was all cold.

Port Reviews

Copenhagen

Lots to see and do: visit the old palace, the parliament building and viewing gallery, and take a boat trip on the canals
