We went on our first cruise this year with Carnival cruise line. We rode the Carnival Imagination to Catalina and Ensenada. Ours is a family of 6 consisting of two seniors, 2 adults and 2 kids. The cruise turned out to be a terrific one-of-a-kind experience for all of us, with plenty of entertainment options, food and fun. We regretted not booking the 7 day cruise and that's very unusual for our family - we are usually the ones that call it a day much sooner than most others! The destinations weren't dreamy like in the pictures, but that wasn't a bummer - and strangely so. We enjoyed every bit of the ship, the breakfast bar, the pool slides, the lido deck, the games , the casino and fun shows with ample enthusiasm. There is a reason people Love cruising -one doesnt have to worry about picking the best reviewed restaurant to eat every time of the day and one doesn't have to worry about optimizing on which places to visit during the day- all these are important revelations the non-cruising population will come to realize just one day into the cruise. We loved it and cant wait to go on the next one!
