Live in Houston and every other year we have a family and friends cruise during the holidays. There was about 44 of us scheduled for the Carnival Liberty. A month before departure we were notified that our ship was changed to Valor. Most of the rooms were scattered about at this point. The food was a real disappointment! If you like eating burgers and fries everyday for 6 days straight then maybe you will be pleased. Buffet was always crowded and never a variety of options (lot of eggplant dishes). Your best bet for breakfast is an omelette (hope you like standing in long lines). The performance on the ship was not good at all. This was the worst ship I have ever been on and I've been on many cruises. I would recommend Royal Caribbean or Norwegian. Stay away from the Valor. Items on the boat were overpriced as well.
