The cruise was reasonably priced and we wanted to get away to some warm weather.

Overall the cruise was excellent, staff were very polite and accommodating, food was superb, ports of call were mostly those we had previously visited. Overall we found the entertainment to be average. We were delayed getting to San Juan as we had a medical emergency on board at Turks and Caicos. When we booked the trip, Tortola was a port of call; but for some unexplained reason this port of call was cancelled. This was a back to back cruise out of Port Everglades. We cannot understand why a cruise line would go down to the Caribbean for a week and then turn around back to Port Everglades and go right back down. We knew this at the time of the booking so our comments are more of an observation rather than a criticism.

This was our third cruise with Holland America, the others were five weeks to the South Pacific and one week to Alaska.
