Reasonably new to the Caribbean. Like 6 back to back Islands with excursions... each different. Got a good feel for some of the islands. On board the accommodations and staff were excellent. The food seemed not quite as good as in the past, bit still good. We chose any time dinning and had dinner in the formal dining room sharing the table which made for some interesting conversations. It is also better if watching your diet. With 3800 passengers, we had to get to the shows early to get reasonable seating.
Tips: get upwind to watch the Dancing waters. You almost always need to go thru the smoking casino to get to the lower theater level. Get to your room early for the cast off lifeboat drill... The elevators do not work during the drill, and there are a lot of stairs. The theater under the stars has better audio than some other ships, and good quality video... you need to scope our good seating as the area is windy and noisy. Don't forget the free popcorn!
Two chairs and a small table filled the Balcony. The shower was larger than on other ships, you could even wash your hair without banging your elbows. The flat screen TV was wall mounted and intranet connected. You had a good selection of free on-demand movies and shows as well as a few satellite stations. The room steward was quite attentive.
Traffic was snarled... drop off was sort of random.
once inside we were able to take the platinum-elite path which made things easier and allowed for early boarding.
