We chose this cruise because it's the biggest and most innovative one in the world. We wanted a brand new ship with lots of amenities and advance technology. We truly liked the modern features, arts and decoration of the cruise. We loved the layout except floor five (the promenade). Too many things were crunched at the same floor: gift shops, restaurants, bars, customer service and bionic bar.
The cabins with balcony were quite small, but the ones with oceanview seem larger. The dining room was quite big covering three floors. Most of our breakfasts and lunches were on the Windjammer. The best place to dine and lunch was the Solarium bistro. At the dining room most meals arrived warm or almost cold. The food was good, but not impressive.
We enjoyed all the shows onboard and I loved the Fine Line. If you like La Nouva, you will love this show with acrobats, gymnastics and synchronized swimmers.
The cabin has plenty of storage and closet space. The TV is great for checking the account, make reservations and watch movies as well. The bathroom is a good size and the shower is great. The AC is amazing. You cannot hear it but it works very well. Ours was good for three people although we were four and felt cramped especially at night. The energy saving feature was cool. Just remember that when you remove the sea pass from the slot all electricity will be off. Do not leave anything charging. No irons or steams are allowed. But the dry cleaning services are reasonable. You need to have your clothing ready to go before 11:00 a.m.
Since we arrived just on the island that is part of the cruise, we remained and enjoyed the beach and lunch. We also shop at the craft market. They speak English, Spanish and French. Make sure to walk towards and back and bargain your price.
We just travel to get onboard. We live in Florida and have been here many times.
