This was a family cruise for my 60th birthday and my sister-in-law's honeymoon. We were in balcony room 9222. Great room and an excellent steward, Heru! The ship was great, clean, and we couldn't have been treated better by staff.
We, unfortunately, had bad weather and the tenders were unable to bring us to shore at Amber Cove...extra day at sea.
We then went to Grand Turk. This is a very small island and I would advise you to pick an excursion. We just hung out at the beach just off the pier. There is surprisingly good snorkeling if you go out to the edge of the swim area, lots of colorful fish. Part of our group went kayaking and raved about it. To the left of the end of the pier is a cute little bar with some amazing drinks. The beach there is open to the public and not anywhere near as crowded.
The cabin was great. We could see into the bridge from our room, so it did interfere with our view a little, but no big deal. We had rough seas for this trip and I would have preferred to be in the middle or back close to the middle for comfort.
We stayed at Red Carpet Inn. The free shuttles were one reason we chose this hotel, and price. It took 1 and a half hour waiting at the airport to be picked up, noisy rooms. Shuttle to the pier, we got tired of waiting and took an Uber, cheap and fast.
We stayed on the beach near the ship. Next time we would definitely do an excursion.
