We just wanted a 3 night cruise over Christmas, as we are snowbirds in FL anyway. This is our 3rd time on Victory in the last 4 years, not on purpose, BTW. We always get a balcony room, so we can enjoy peace and quiet. We really enjoyed the cruise. First time cruising with only the two of us, and we met so many wonderful people from all over the country. We ate in the MDR for breakfast and dinner, and used the buffet, grill and pizza for a small lunch. We liked the grill, liked all the salad items on the buffet, did not care for the pizza. The breakfasts and dinners were all very good-not a bad meal on this boat. We had wonderful servers at both. There were a lot of young people and kids on the cruise, which we enjoyed, as we look at old people most of the time in FL! There's so many things to do or nothing. Whatever you want. The bar on the main floor had great music and great drinks. We did see the Seafood Shack, where we saw decent lobster rolls go by (we're New Englanders), and people eating crab legs and shrimp. Oh, and we did get to watch the Patriots in the Sports Bar, which is new since we were on last. Our cabin steward was great, too. We were on the 8th floor, which does not appear to be redone, but it was fine-it was clean and comfortable, which is all that matters. TV does need to be replaced-hubby not happy but we weren't there to watch TV. Embarkation went smoothly, debarkation was a little long but fine, muster drill was OK-lucky we were in front of group and had a nice breeze--a man did faint in the back... Funny story--we asked a man outside the terminal where to drop the luggage, and he showed us. Turns out he was in the stateroom next to us--what are the odds with 3400 people on board?

Nassau

We took the ferry , little flimsy boat, but fun. Walked around Atlantis and the Marina, casino, and somehow got to see the Aquarium, and a faroff view of the beach. Just lovely!!! Next time I would take a taxi back, but any boat ride is a good thing, in my mind.

Miami

Just drove there
