As occupants of the Royal Suite, I would have expected that we should at least be provided with bottled water and not have to keep collecting it from the bars. This is the most expensive cabin on this ship and I expected better. Was told that we had to pay extra if we ordered Cappuccino for room service even though we had the Ultimate Drink Package. Well, that’s understandable I guess, but if they don't want to provide cappuccino for your Royal Suite passengers, please at lease provide some decent coffee. Coffee was inconsistent. Some days very diluted and other days, really bitter.

The shows put up were of subpar standards. Totally not entertaining at all and the performers looked jaded, bored and seemed to be just going through the motion. A friend had cruised on the same ship a year prior and also cruised together with us this time. According to my friend, the show had not changed from a year ago, hence the complacency from the performers. Cruise entertainment director needs to update the acts and demand higher standards from performers.

The DJ at The Dragon's Lire was not able to maintain his crown. On the last night of the cruise, the theme was 70's disco. It was obvious that he had no clue of what constituted popular 70s disco music. He managed to clear the dance floor in 3 songs.

Cabin Royal Suite

The maintenance standards were very poor. There was a grand piano in the suite that should have had an auto-play function. Apparently nobody on the ship knows what happened to the auto-play control module. To add insult to injury, they even denied that there was such a function. They brought in a piano tuner but even he didn't know what happened to the auto play control module. It was very obvious that the control had been removed for some reason as the brackets and cables were there but there was not control module. Was very disappointed as I was looking forward to this after watching this YouTube video that clearly shows the piano in auto play mode. Watch at the 2:50 mark and you will understand what I mean: https://youtu.be/G9Cj16o_Y1s

On the last night of the cruise, the balcony lights in the Royal Suite could not be switched off. The electrician came in and tried to switch it off but didn't even know where the switch was located until I showed it to him. He tried for about 30 mins and suddenly left without saying anything. I was simply flabbergasted. I am very sensitive to light and had a lot of trouble sleeping that night!

One of the light fader switch handles at the bar counter was broken and was not fixed. There was also a switch near the grand piano that did not activate anything. I suspect that it was probably the alternate switch for the balcony light.
