Traveled with children

A family Christmas (with 11 and 13 year olds) was the idea: no cooking, no shopping, lots of snorkelling and relaxing. And we got that in spades. The kids loved it, especially the activities arranged for their age group. They made friends and had a wonderfully independent time.

The islands we visited were also a delight and we were blessed with great weather. Isle of Pines, Mare, Port Vila, Mystery Island and Noumea.

But...the food was very very ordinary and we coined a description for a lot of it, especially the desserts, which was "zombie food" – because zombies are undead and don't care if their food tastes of nothing and is dry and awful.

Cabin Review

Cabin was clean and kept clean by very friendly and efficient stewards. The bathroom was showing its age (rust and peeling panels) but was clean. The balcony was tatty and there were cigarette butts stuck in the matting (shudder).
