Sail Date: Nov 2016

Over the past 12 years we have sailed many times on a variety of HAL ships. It's 2 years since our last cruise with them and we noted that changes are still happening- some better for the guest and some for efficiency and the bottom line

We realize that cruise lines cannot please all the people all the time but HAL does please us most of the time.

We are active seniors and appreciate the lack of "cruise energy" being fostered on some lines. Replace "cruise energy" with loud, loud noise. The HAL fleet offers what for us is most important- a wide wrap-around promenade deck with ample seating on padded adjustable deck chairs where you can wile away time peacefully without piped background music and pool activities. Note that the new Konningsdam has compromised the prom deck. It's much narrower and lacks seating.
