This was our first cruise with American Cruise Lines. We wanted to see another part of the country and this met our request. this was a unique experience for my wife and I. We celebrated our 50 th anniversary. The crew was very good, as well as the food. We found it to be a very intimate experience. Having set down meals was a bonus. Ample food. Enjoyed the cocktail hour also. Met people from all over the country. The room was a bit small but it served its purpose. Enjoyed the various stops along the river. The scenery was worth taking of pictures. The locks always intrigued me, being from Sault Ste Marie Mich. many years ago. Enjoyed conversations with Captain Simmons, my having been in the NAVY. We have referred several of our friends to look into cruising with ACL. We are looking into the Alaska cruise possibly next year.

Cabin Review

Cabin standard

The cabin was adequate, for the amount of time we spent in it. Original thought was that we all had a balcony, but not so.
