My disabled husband and I took our annual cruise. Since he can't fly, we are fortunate to have options in Florida to drive to. Wanting to take a bigger ship, so the Norwegian Epic out of Canaveral was a good pick. Parking, Embarking, and Disembarking was a breeze. We got to the port at 11:15 and were having lunch at 12:15. Using a porter to disembark is the way to go. They get you through the customs queue very quickly. Our scheduled time to get off was 9:30, but the called our color early and we were on the road back to Orlando at 9:45.

I had read many reviews about crowded elevators. Although they said the ship was near full at 4,900 passengers, we did not have that problem getting on any even with a wheelchair. Our biggest problem was the elevators in the aft didn't go to the 5th floor (Atrium and Taste). Going to the 15th (Buffet) we had to walk zigzag through the pool area if we used our elevators or go to the other set in the front to get up there. The last elevator problem was going to La Cacina we had to use a cabin floor and go past about 40 cabins and steward doing there evening rounds with carts. Not an enjoyable trip getting there.

We ate many times at O'sheehan's and wonderful every time (except for the noise when the bowling alley was open) Nachos, Fish and Chips, Reuben, and Wings, wings, wings!! All the specialty dining was great. Cagneys was the best. The buffet was mediocre. Same old breakfast things and cold food. Fortunately they had designated disabled seating.
