Third Celebrity cruise (NZ andOz, Med) but first on Millennium class ship. Infinity is 15 years old, and needs some TLC. Externally looks tired, facilities good and similar to solstice class, staff excellent as always. Exception being the perfumed garden which is in an internal area, no soothing views, and noise from deck above intrusive to the intended serene atmosphere.

Trips expensive via Celebrity and not all well organised or value, so try to book/arrange your own. Wifi a rip off as with all the ships, and not so easy to find ashore (even McDonald's let us down!) most ports are commercial so expect to see a lot of containers. Purpose was to go thru the canal, which was great.

The embarkation at Fort Lauderdale was very poorly organised. Long lines, degree of chaos and departure delayed as luggage not loaded in time, we waited from 14:00 to 18:15 for ours, and had to chase them. This is their business so,should run like clockwork. However, disembarkation at Valparaiso quick and efficient, would expect the other way around.

Cabin Review

Aqua Class

Cabin A2

Excellent room attendant. Good size and storage. Shower needs a good overhaul, seals and grouting.

Mid ship which we like and near the pools, gym and cafe for a quick coffee.
