Embarkation was a disaster with the "timed check ins". When we arrived at the port there was a HUGE line up, so naturally we get in line. After talking with some people in line, we discovered that the line was for later check in times. There were no signs guiding us and any staff we asked at the port was curt and borderline rude. Also this new boarding pass/check in system was not explained to us either on the website when we checked in or by our travel agent.

Ship was beautiful! Lots of very nice touches and the upgraded technology from other ships was perfect! What I did find was that there were many more things that cost extra on the ship. For instance the little bowling game they had. $3 to bowl 5 frames! Convert that to Canadian dollars and I could bowl 2 full games back home! The IMAX, extra. The Thrill ride, extra.

Dining was ok. All of our previous cruises we had assigned dining so we got to know our wait staff and had a rapport with them. This time we had the "my time" dining which you show up and they seat you like at any other restaurant and you get a different waiter every time. Not sure if this is why our service was lacking but it certainly didn't help.
