we had a disappointing 2 weeks on fascination. very old boat should be retired not "refurbished". on Riviera deck very noisy when porting as motors rattle you out of your bed. no dining selections besides general buffet as no specialty dining onboard. will not cruise carnival again but good itinerary for dollar value. the ports are great but little to do on board and pool decks full to capacity on sea day. our adult children's first cruise was a bust as they both commented that they would not do a cruise like this again. have cruised on carnival liberty which was okay, but fascination needs work as it is simply multiple layers of painted over rust at this point with many updates and maintenance needing to make this a good value for the money. the service was average as many staff looked tired and less than enthusiast at times. the boat common areas are also too narrow for proper traffic flow. chose any other cruise boat but this as it is a fixer upper at this point.

docking motors rattle you out of bed. complained to guest services about noise, they are well aware of the noise complaints from these rooms as we are not the first or last to question the room noise.
