At first I was concerned that two weeks on a cruise would be too long. On the 13th day we couldn't believe it was almost over. From the first day to the last, everything was great. We went to the Cruise Critics Meet & Greet and meet many couples that we seen though-out the cruise which made it extra special. Also the Captain and ten of his top staff managers were there for us to meet and personally offer their help if we needed anything. What a great experience. We always want to see the Panama Canal and the price and timing of this cruise was perfect. Having the Unlimited Drink Package & Special Dining Package was a nice treat. Also the open dining made it very relaxing, not to have to hurry to diner on a schedule time. Attended every evening show, all were entertaining, fun and excellent, also included.

Cabin Review

Aft-Facing Balcony

Cabin B1

Cabin was a little small but for two it was OK. Having an Aft-Facing balcony going through the Panama Canal is the only was to cruise thru the canal. When all the decks were full and you couldn't see because everyone else was up front and at less two deep, we just stayed on our balcony, being able to see everything & then some. Being on deck 8 there was a little engine noise, was a little concerning but we still slept well.

Port Reviews

Puerto Quetzal (Antigua)

No tour planned but after visiting the pavilion that had tourist information, I found a gal outside offering a tour to Antiqua for only $30 pp. There was on seven other passengers and everyone had a great time.

We ate at three of the specialty dining options, Cagney's was the best so we went there twice. First time I had the Filet & my husband had the Ribeye. Second time I had the Porterhouse which was very good but much too big, you could easily share it. We both agree the Ribeye was the best. All the steaks were cooked perfectly. Teppanyaki Room was good but to small of a room for so many people, too noisy to enjoy. You could hardly talk to the person next to you. Moderno the Brazilian Steakhouse was just OK, just wouldn't go back.
