My family chose this cruise because of the ports it was going to visit and the price was unbeatable. The onboard service (housekeeping, restaurant and entertainment) were outstanding. We chose "my time" dining and found that most days the waiting time was less than ten minutes. Ship needs several repairs (water leaks in the Windjammer, two elevators smelled like dirty dogs were locked in there, and needs improvement in cleanliness of chrome and brass areas, and some of the public areas were dusty). We traveled as a family and were able to sit together in the theater without spending much time trying to find seats. Casino was very small and the air conditioning was not working. Oscillating fans were on all the time - some areas were extremely hot. The menu in the main restaurant failed to have a variety of soups and the late night Windjammer snacks were not very inviting. The only food options were three types of sandwiches every night, these were: 1) cheese sandwich (the cheese looked old and hard) 2) ham and cheese (bread was hard) and 3) a veggie sandwich. Pizza appeared to be "pre-frozen" and heated. Every night was the same thing. No salad, no tuna sandwiches, no french fries, hot dogs, burgers, etc. like other ships. The coffee at night was always either "luke warm" or cold. Staff recognized it and had brought it to the attention of the Windjammer staff, but nothing changed.
