Having never been to Hawaii before, we chose this 7 day cruise as a way to get a good overview. It really delivered. The cruising was nice, but nothing special. It's an older crowd on Norwegian, so getting the party started was always difficult for the staff. They did a good job with the participation they had.The food on Norwegian is adequate, but not the highlight of the trip. Service in the sit down restaurants seem spotty. Sometimes good, sometimes you had to flag down the waiter to get a drink refill. The entertainment was good:, comedian, magician, and music was all well done. Plenty for everyone (we had a whole extended family present). The ports of call really made the trip. Opportunities to see 4 of the islands, and good shore excursions at every one. We especially enjoyed the opportunity to go hiking on Maui and on the big island. I would really recommend it for seeing Hawaii.

Very fine for a 7 day cruise. A bit cramped in the shower for the tall ones!
