This cruise was offered to us by the casino. The offer was hard to resist, free ocean view state room just pay taxes and port fees(less than $150.00 a person). Since we had sailed on the Empress in August, we knew what to expect. Unfortunately the expected did not happen. The food in the main dinning room was not what we experience in August(poor selection, presentation and quality). We thought they may have fixed the table issues in the Casino but that was not the case. There was room to have at least two more poker style tables but the did not use it. ( one 3 card table and one ultimate texas holdem table only). By the last night of the cruise people were actually fighting over the seats, the Pit boss had to intevine more than once. this may seem like a small issue to some but when you offer a cruise to encourage casino play you should make sure there is proper use of the room provided. This ship is not your best choice if you are looking for a casino experience.
This is a great cabin. Twice the size of other outside cabins.
Most shops were closed, it was a Sunday visit.
