This is was our 30th cruise on Celebrity and in our opinion since the new CEO has been on board it has gone steadily down hill. We were very disappointed in the food & selection in the main dining room. What happened to Top Chef? The maître' d's do not do anything to stop people from going in the dining room in shorts, swim trunks, t-shirts & flip flops. In the Oceanview Café we noticed several people in there with bathrobes!! Talking with several other people on the ship they feel the same way we do, Celebrity used to be a really nice cruise line to cruise on being more elegant without being stuffy, now its turning into another NCL or Carnival, we do not like the new dress code, but they say they want to be a more modern cruise line and bringing more elegant clothes weigh too much.
The staff continues to do a great job although there is now only a cabin steward without the assistant. We did a back-to-back and on the second leg of this cruise they started running out of several things (bloody mary mix, limes, chocolate syrup, lactose free milk and Captain Morgan's rum to name a few). The consecutive cruiser disembarkation and re-entry was very, very disorganized. Even with these things we had a wonderful cruise and hope by our next cruise things will be better.
Was very clean. Like the layout of the room we were in with bed buy the balcony, love to look out at night when in bed. Plenty of storage for us, suitcases (2 large, 1 carry-on) fit under the bed.
Live in Florida, so love Ft. Lauderdale
Is a very beautiful island
