First off........read many reviews before taking this cruise. Many that complained about the crew, shower, ship and food.........had to be old fuddy duddies that never smile, (had plenty of those on board), they were rude, and treated the crew very badly. The crew handled them very nicely. The shower? Loose some weight folks, they were fine!!!! The Ship? Only noticed a couple of wear places and didn't affect the overall quality of the ship. Food? It was just fine. From the looks of some of the travelers plates, (full), they weren't all that unhappy with it either. OK, enough about that.

The embarkation was fine, just seemed a little long. If folks would listen to instructions, it would have gone even smoother. The canal experience was fine. listened and watched all the information Princess made available to us. Pete and Sara did a wonderful job on helping us get some great deals on the jewelry we were wanting. The shows were good. Especially "Encore" and Bayou, do not miss those two. Of course, being a smaller ship with a small theatre, be there at least one hour before the show starts. Otherwise, I would highly recommend the Canal Experience on Princess........had a GREAT TIME!!!!

Cabin Review

Cabin BF a-717

Cabin was just the right size. Just as expected. Shower was not a problem and we had a larger TV. Can't wait until they change the beds........a little hunch back.

Port & Shore Excursion Reviews

Puerto Vallarta

Did some shopping. Spent too much, should have stayed on ship..........Great place for picture taking and shopping.....will be back

Had the worst excursion of our cruising life. Took city tour. Down one highway, turned around, went back. Given 5 minutes to take pics. Bus was lousy, back speakers, guide apologized at end of tour. Went into town........very little time there.....saw a church.....back to ship. Did I mention that the excursion started an HOUR late leaving ship. no bus, was reason. Then waited another 25 minutes once off the ship. Would NEVER recommend this tour to anyone. Another problem...Princess only gave us 20% off the excursion after we complained......NOT HAPPY ABOUT THAT. Will be following up with Princess on this mess.

Tram Through Rainforest

Was alright, not as great as we expected. Just up and down the side of a mountain in a tram. Saw one monkey's tail and some water falls. When down, walked a trail into a butterfly cage, saw some snakes in cages and got a talk about them........ok, but would never spend $150 for the excursion again. Should be a $75 one.

City Tour

Had outstanding guide. Emily! Knew the city she lived in very well. took her time explaining, letting us look and never made us feel rushed. The walk up to the fort.......whew........but made it

Just did some shopping. Heard from others, not a great place to tour........but, that was their opinion

Do want to add a couple of things: There were some great people on board that we talked with, from around the world. Very interesting to learn about their countries and states. Did not completely make up for the rude, line crashing folks, but helped. Again, that was the worst part of the cruise, uncaring cruisers. Let go folks, relax, treat others good and you will also have a better time on board.

Disembarkation was a zoo in Florida. We waited in line, then we had to get out of line to get our luggage, then, back at the end of the line again. They didn't have enough Custom Agents to do the job. Took approximately 50 minutes from the time we left the ship to get to the taxi's. Totally unacceptable. That was the only major fault we could take from the trip. I realize, that is not Princesses fault, but some better communication at the port would have been better.
