This is our second Oceania cruise and it did not disappoint. Our previous trip was on Regatta with 650 people, Riviera holds 1250. There was no time we felt crowds. The ship is lovely and beautifully appointed. The Concierge level was as nice as the PH we previously had sans the Butler. We love the spa deck forward of the Canyon Ranch to relax. The staff was wonderful. The food was excellent and the 5 star service is one of the best we have ever had. The itinerary was great and we booked some private snorkel tours in Grand Turks and St. Barts that were the highlight of the trip. The Culinary school was interesting and fun. We had only one hiccup embarking. We were told J dock and when our driver dropped us off and left we were left standing with about 10 other people. One called and was informed it was now B dock, so we had to hire another taxi to bring us over. Poor communication on the part of Oceania, but otherwise things went off smoothly.
We are looking forward to another Oceania cruise!
Lovely space, nice stand up shower. Bulgar amenities. Cabin staff was superb!
Lovely to walk around.
We wanted to cab it to Brewers Bay to snorkel but did not feel we had enough time as it was a distance and we did not have a recommendation for a reliable cab company. Lovely to walk but missed snorkeling.
We had been to Nassau as cruisers on our own sailboat in 2000. The change on East Bay Street is dramatic. So sad to see it so derelict. The hawkers at the pier are too annoying so we drifted back to the ship and remembered Nassau as it was.
