We had been on several other vacations this year including Europe and Hawaii, but when this cruise came along at a good price, we decided to book. Princess is one of our favorite cruise lines so we were looking forward to a good experience. Since we we live in Florida, we decided to fly out to L.A. a day early to make sure we arrived in time for the cruise. That made our arrival at the port stress free and the embarkation smooth.

The ship seemed to be in good shape, but since the cruise was fully booked, many areas such as the buffet seemed to be crowded. Also, being just a 7 day cruise there were a lot of children.

We were in a typical ocean view cabin on deck 8 which was fine since we usually don't spend much time in the cabin anyway. The only downside is the size of the bathroom and shower, which are quite small.
