The Harmony of the Seas (12/03/2016) is without question the ship with the best facilities of any we have sailed before. We have sailed in excess of 30 cruises! Entertainment was wonderful, The food in the specialty restaurants was good, however everywhere else was just ok. We had a suite and spent most of our time at the Coastal Kitchen. At the Coastal Kitchen we had Steve as our waiter and he was great. The chef came out every night and asked how everything was (we liked that). The only suggestion I have is they change the menu more often. We interacted with many crew members who were very good, however we also interacted with many who seemed untrained especially in Customer service. While dining at Jamie's Italian we witnessed a cruiser get so upset the started to scream for the manager and threw his plate down on the table. This situation was not handled very well, the staffs lack of training made the situation even worst. I did not like the cabin railings going from wood to metal!
We had suite cabin 1040, what we call the " Maintenance Suite " without question the worst situation we have ever experienced on a cruise. We had a smell in the bedroom that got worst as the cruise went along. It started Tuesday evening when we got to our cabin at midnight. The smell was so bad we called maintenance. After waiting until 1am the smell was getting better and we were tired and went to sleep. On Friday morning we woke up at 3am and it was so bad we had to go to the balcony to sleep. We then meet every maintenance department on the ship, bottom line the last night had a musk smell from the water leak under the sink. It was never fixed!
