We were on a back to back cruise for 14 days and it was wonderful. The Regal Princess is a beautiful ship. Our Suite was excellent and the Room Steward was more than excellent. Embarkation and Disembarkation went very smoothly. The entertainment was very diversified and we really enjoyed all of it. The ports of call were good and the shore excursions we chose were excellent. We also renewed our vows for or 35th. Wedding Anniversary and Captain Perrin was the best. It was a very memorable occasion one we will never forget. Overall this cruise is right up there with the best cruises that we have taken with Princess. We are seasoned cruisers with Princess and have been on many of their cruises. Alaska was another one that was Amazing. Princess Service is more than excellent, it is exceptional. We highly recommend Princess to anyone who would like the best in cruising.

Cabin Review

Premium Suite with Balcony

Cabin S5

This Suite is wonderful. The bedroom has a huge picture window in the front of the ship where you can see where you are going and in port you can see everything. The bedroom has two chairs facing the picture window. The living room is cozy with a mini bar, couch, desk and chair. The bathroom has two areas. The main portion has a huge shower, separate tub and long vanity with a sink. The other area has a sink and commode. The balcony is small but very comfortable. We have had the same Suite on the Royal Princess and the Regal Princess. We really enjoyed it.

Port Reviews

Antigua

We have been to Antigua before and we walked around and enjoyed the beautiful Christmas decorations and shops.

St. Thomas

We have been here many times so we took the tram up to Paradise Point which is our favorite place to sit and enjoy the view of the bay and cruise ships. Paradise Point Tram and Restaurant are a wonderful excursion to take or just do it on your own. The food and drink is excellent.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

We booked this with Princess. Panoramic Puerto Plata & Cabaret Beach Break with Lunch. We rated this as very good because the beach was not really that nice. It was very difficult to walk down to. The restaurant is higher that the beach and going down to the water was somewhat difficult. Lunch was average and the drive thru Puerto Plata was ok.

Montego Bay

We were not able to get to Montego Bay and we could not dock, the weather was really windy and not safe. I rateed it excellent as it looked really nice from our balcony.

Princess Cays

Princess Cays is amazing. The beaches are great and Princess barbaques are the best. There are lots of things to do and we really enjoyed our time on the beach. There are a lot of places where you can get shade if you choose.
