We chose this cruise because it went to 2 ports that we haven't been to. We love St Thomas been there many times. First time to Antigua, got off the ship was bothered by so many people trying to get us to take a tour or sell us stuff we turned around and went back to the ship and had a great day at the pool, nice and quiet and relaxing. Amber Cove, Dominican Republic was a nice day with a wonderful tour of Puerto Plata. We stopped at a rum distillery and at a local artists house which was turned into a restaurant for lunch. the bad thing was the tour was so long that we were late getting back to the ship, so we did not get to enjoy the new cruise terminal of Amber cove.

The Regal is a beautiful ship, and when they decorated it for Christmas it became magical. Great job to the crew who came onboard and decorated the whole ship while we were in port one day.

As usual the food in the dining room is the same as all other Princess cruises, but it is always good. We eat in the Main dining room most nights. My favorite place to eat is the international cafe, great paninis and the best greek salad.

Cabin Review

Balcony

Cabin BW

Cabin was an obstructed view, but we had a great view, the life boat was in front of us so we couldn't look down but could see just fine straight out.

Average size cabin with plenty of closet space.

Port Reviews

Fort Lauderdale (Port Everglades)

Easy embarkation and disembarkation at this port, very organized.

Amber Cove (Puerto Plata)

Great tour of the city with a stop at the rum distillery and lunch with a local artist, long day but we saw a lot and have a wonderful lunch.

St. Thomas

With all the trips to St Thomas, this was the fist time we did Blackbeards castle, the story and castle were very interesting and the view was great. lots of steps so you need to be able the walk stairs.

Antigua

Waste of time.
