We chose this cruise because it was supposedly a round trip ,SF-SF; but it was not meant to be. The Grand Princess had a structural damage, that we had to sail back to Honolulu , and be flown to SF via Kahului. Flying was so much of a hassle, ie, excess baggage, connecting flight from Honolulu to Maui to SF. I was traveling with a handicapped, that it was really a hassle.

I have yet to receive my 50% refund. They credited it to a different passenger. I emailed my baggage fee, requesting a response. Still waiting.

The crew was exemplary. Dined at The Michaelangelo - they were very accomodating, respectful, considerate, had a great sense of humor. Special mention : Bien, Fernando, Bogdan, Joe Marie .Emabarkation/disembarkation went smoothly. Entertainment were varied. Dining was ok.Loved the pork belly. Some soups were a little bit salty. The ports were fine. The tender needs upgrade. The Boutique shops were ok. Sad that I had to return my liquor, because I could not hand carry it in the plane. The Westin in SF was a great compensation. Thank you.
