This was our second time on Allure of the seas. We did not do all the shows this time because we saw them 6 months ago. We had a boardwalk balcony 9729. It was the very last room and you could watch the aqua shows if you stood up. This was a big plus for us. You could not see the shows clearly if sitting do to the railing. Every where I read said noise was not an issue. Maybe I have better hearing than others but you could hear the aqua shows music and applause. If there was not a show or other activity then the noise was barely noticeable. The draw back to the room was it was a long walk to anywhere. if you have mobility issues you may not want to book these rooms but do the boardwalk rooms closer to the elevator. A plus was that there was barely any traffic or noise in the hall. Beds were just so so. A little to hard to my liking. My son said the sleep sofa was also hard. In May our bed was not this hard. We had plenty of space for all our stuff in the room. (4 big bags and 3 carry ones)

Embarkation went smoothly and quickly. We ate lunch at the park cafe. The salads were good and they have sandwiches too. We could not get into our room until 1330. We did my time dining and picked 730 for nightly reservations. We only ate in the dining room 4 times and 2 out of those 4 times we were not seated until after 0750. Our dining room staff was wonderful and they made the dining much more enjoyable. We had Ronald and Emmanuel. One night our son got a headache during dinner and had to leave. They sent 2 different desserts back to the room for him. On the second night we did Sambas, it was a fantastic experience and they guys just loved all the different kinds of meat. The little cheese filled bread poppers were delicious.

The aqua show is wonderful and we loved blue planet too. We had 3 stops. Labadee, Jamaica and mexico. We did not do any ship excursions. In Labadee we just went to Nellie's beach and hung out. there is a lot of shaded areas so you don't need to worry about to much sun. In Jamaica we did a day pass at runaway bay resort. transportation, all the food and drinks you want. Pool and beach included. It is adults only and was so relaxing. The staff there were very nice and helpful. In Cozumel we did a day pass at playa mia beach. we got the package with all inclusive food, drinks and transportation. There were a pool, water park, beach, and inflatable water park. you could also use the non moterized water sports.
