We chose this cruise because we loved the itinerary and like Celebrity the best. The Summit had a recent makeover and everything was clean and fresh. We went to five different ports and six if you count Puerto Rico. We sailed to Barbados, Antigua, St Thomas, St Maarten and St Lucia. Our room steward was perfect as was the wait-staff in the main dining room, where we ate every night except one. We went to Tuscan our last evening, and the fillet mignon was really good. Every buffet was very good, especially breakfast. We loved the fresh poached eggs Benedict, the pizza was good, and there was a lot of variety. The ship is a smaller vessel and the lines at the buffet's were never long or too slow. The public rooms were all clean and you never had wait long for a drink. We had taken advantage of the drink package and it was worth it.
If there was a downside it would be the pool area being a bit small and sometimes too crowded. The spa experience was very good on the service end, but the spa itself was nothing special and the workout facilities and the locker room are just average. The entertainment was better than average at the shows.and the theater was very nice and comfortable. The casino was a bit too crowded but the bar was fun with excellent bartenders. We thought we received a very good value and we booked a future cruise to Alaska with Celebrity!
This cabin is at the very front of the ship with a great view. The cabin is a bit larger than most and was very clean, comfortable and quiet.
We stayed over two nights before the cruise and we liked SanJuan!
We stayed on the ship because St Lucia beaches are just ok. Take a tour though! We spent a week here a few years ago and took a great boat and land tour combo.
Went to Millers Bay and it was very laid back and relaxing!
Took a cab to Megans Bay. Go early before the crowds!
