This is my 5th Carnival Cruise and the 3rd time on this itinerary-1st time on the Magic. I have previously been on the Sunshine, Breeze, Dream and Valor all for week long cruises. Not only would I recommend this cruise and ship, I plan on taking another and am already planning!

Over the last five years that I have been cruising I have seen an improvement with my Carnival experience. The food has always been good to me but it has gotten better in the dining room and in the new areas like Guys Burger Joint, Red Frog Pub and the Bar B Q.

I have also seen tremendous improvement in the quality of shows in the main theatre. On this past ship, they did four entirely different performances and they were outstanding!

Port Reviews

Port Canaveral (Orlando)

Port Canaveral is very clean and safe...great places to eat!

Cozumel

Very nice port. However, we leave the port area and find a beach that is not busy and enjoy the day there.

Belize City

Small and dirty port. Do not like it all and don't even get off there anymore.

Roatan

Our absolute favorite location! Beautiful port and beautiful island with the best snorkeling ever. Carnival has done a very nice job building this port. Take the time to go out on an excursion and see the beautiful island and water.

Costa Maya

Another very nice port. Not a lot to do outside of the port area but the fishing village is nice, the beach is nice and easy to swim at with very clear water. Lots of little places to eat and hang out at for the day. Service is great!
