I have just completed a one week Alaska cruise with Holland America on board of Zuiderdam sailing from Vancouver (June 13 - June 20). It was a holiday that we booked as a family trip. I and my husband are under 35 and my parents in law are 65-70. It was the first cruise for all 4.

I and my husband are avid travelers but we prefer to make our one schedule and arrangements, so we chose the cruise mainly for my parents in law. Our schedule was designed to include activities that they would enjoy and we did everything together.

Considering this set-up we had a better experience than expected, we really enjoyed the cursing and will definitely do it again! Read more
