We were really looking forward to this, our second Viking cruise (Basel to North Sea / Rhine Getaway). It didn't meet our hopes in almost any way.
Get up early, walking tour of a town or city for 2-3 hours, back to the ship for lunch, then sit around all afternoon or pay for an extra excursion. Not exactly 'all included' , not even close.
If you took all of the extra cost afternoon tours, you would spend about $800 per person more than the initial cost.
