Sail Date: Nov 2016

This was our first ever cruise. Most people always recommended cruises, apart from the people we spoke to on this ship who would also never go on the Majesty again. We know next year this ship will be finishing but if you want luxury, good food, good ports of call, don't go on this one.

The first week the staff were painting parts of the promenade deck which was supposed to be for sunbathing, so we had to put up with parts of the deck being chained off and stinking paint fumes. We know these jobs sometimes need to be done, but the ship had been docked up for three weeks previous to us going because of the engine fire so why couldn't it have been done then?

The staff overall on ship were good and helpful.

Cabin Review

Cabin standard

Small, not enough storage space, hairdryer was connected so it came out of a drawer and not off the wall. Bathroom not much bigger than a pantry.

Port Reviews

Tenerife

Not the best port to dock.
