The east seaboard is full of history and cruising out of Quebec to Fort Lauderdale gives a glimpse of the past.Quebec City full old style buildings, narrow streets ,and that French influence . Sydney Nova Scotia with the infamous coastline and Fort ,Halifax Nova Scotia the original gateway to Canada, Bar Harbour is very quaint and is a stepping stone for the Arcadia National Park, Boston with so much History one day does not do it justice. Newport with all the historic mansions and past wealth, New York so much to see and do ,a no brainer for a visit and Norfolk ,close to Williamsburg ,should be on every bodies bucket list.
How ever the down side was that the service in the ships any time dining room was slow and when the food did finally arrive was cold and under cooked.Beware the if on a drinks package only expect quick service if you go to a bar and order your drinks direct. You could have eaten your meal in the dining room before your drink would arrive.
On this voyage we did not see the Captain or any senior offices other than the Hotel Director and Cruise Director, even at the Captains cocktail party or at the Captains circle cocktail party, these were hosted by the cruise Director.
