Ruby Princess Cruise Review by Rubinld
- Sail Date: December 2016
- Destination: Mexican Riviera
- Cabin Type: Premium Club Class Mini-Suite with Balcony
We have previously sailed with Princess to the same 3 ports as this cruise. We picked this one because it was easier for our elderly parents, and our handicapped brother by not having to include air fare, since we live with 40 minutes of the terminal. It's a beautiful ship, however the service was not up to par compared to past cruised we've been on. While in one of the bars, we ordered three drinks. When the individual brought them to our table, he could not provide any napkins. We were told that they didn't have any. On 2 other occasions we were in the buffet on deck 15 having breakfast. A gentleman came over to our table to pick up the dirty dishes from the previous passengers. We "bussed" the table while waiting for him to take the dishes away, wipe it down, so we could enjoy our breakfast. We gave him our drink order, 2 glasses of orange juice, 2 glasses of water, and 2 cups of coffee. We ate our breakfast, and never saw him again. No drinks were served. On the second formal night the photographer setup in the hall way on Deck 7 with a screen, and a light hanging from the ceiling. This location caused a huge traffic jam, and people couldn't walk freely from one end of the ship to the other. On a positive note, our dining staff was great, and our room steward, Richard, on Dolphin deck 9 was fantastic. Very friendly and very efficient.

Great cabin. Plenty of room, and the bed was very comfortable.
