We love Princess Cruise Line and especially being able to sail from a port near our home. It was so easy getting aboard; everything went so smoothly and the ship was as ready to have us aboard as we were to embark.
Our bags were delivered to our door almost as soon as we got to the room so we were unpacked and ready to explore even before the Life Review.
Leaving the SF Bay and getting out in the Pacific waters we experienced a bit of rough seas but our Capitan's Team had things under control and of course the entire staff on board were great and used to the tilting of the ship.
Our cabin was pretty standard but clean and inviting. We had a balcony with curtains and drapes we could open wide to let the view of the sea and sky and we like to keep them that way during the day. Sometime we would stay on our balcony soaking up the streaming sun and breathing the fresh ocean air.
By the time we were tendered ashore, we did not have much time. We walked along the shore and to a park where there was a craft fair. We met some nice crafters but did not buy any thing.
It was evening by the time we got ashore and we visited the shops along the pier. They were the average tourist stalls. There were so many ship people, it was difficult to get to seeing most of the merchandise.
