This was my first cruise and also that of my daughter and her friend. So please be patient with my review. We just got back from Carnival Sensation 4 day cruise to Freeport and Nassau, June 14-18.We ended up getting to the port early. We parked in the very first row after dropping off our checked luggage.( By the way the porters would not take our case of water. It was a pain trying to carry and it kept falling out all over the ship, and very heavy)  So we finally got on board and waited for a few hours till the room was ready, I think it was around 1 pm. My own fault, I was so excited to get there, I couldn't wait any longer.  Once that finally happened, Yeah!  our vacation started.   I had two teen age girls with me, both were in the club 02. I could not keep them away from that place when it was open. As far as we could tell that was from about 9:30 pm till about 1 am. They love to dance, and they played plenty of their type of dance music. I liked the fact that it was only open at night, making them find other things to do, and their were plenty. They easily made friends with the other teens.I went to some of the shows. The adult comedian was funny, but had a lot of offensive stuff in it , so to each their own taste, I couldn't stop laughing. They had an 80's music and dance. This was excellent! They went through different eras of the 80's and did dances and singing with it.It was like watching music videos with a twist. The finally, was not one I liked. I'm sure the guys got a thrill out of the t- back outfits, but I found it boring and drawn out. They also had a magic show, but it was crowded and I skipped it.I had a couple of the spa services while there. I had a wonderful facial, I can not remeber the name of it but it was very nice. I also had the seaweed wrap massage. Wonderful!!!!!! They were both over priced, but it was a me time treat, and I loved it. They try to sell products and other services afterwards, but I just said no thank you, and that was that. The prices are negotiable, but get that settled before booking.  We had the most wonderful, fun table mates, two women were friends bringing one's 19 year old daughter and her 22 year old friend. They ended up taking me under there wings for a big part of the trip, since I was abandoned by my teens for the majority of the on board time. Our waiter was wonderful!!! His name is Yuda, if you can, request him. We kept calling him You-da- man. He really took care of us. His assistant was great too, but I had a hard time with his name. There was even a man who came to our table and did magic tricks, his name was Prax, we never could figure out how he did them.  I eat out often, and found the food only so-so for the most part, but every once in a while something was just spectacular, kind of a hit and miss.   There were different bars on board, piano, dj with dance and a live band. There was an asian band that played santana and other rock n roll type music and were just superb, but for some reason, there never were many people in that lounge. There was also a piano singer in the lobby area that was good.  The departation, went much smoother I thought than the embarkation, and we were left a little saddened our vacation was over. Our short time aboard was already starting to feel like home.

Cabin Review

Ocean View

Cabin 6B

Cabin was a little cramped for three people, but was beautiful, and set up nicely. I liked that they had an area in the bathroom and a seperate mirror and table in the room, for multiple people to get ready.
