Our first time with princess and we will be back again. The embarkation and disembarking went smoothly. Dining and shows were excellent, and also there were lectures from nature experts about the places we visited. In particular, the pizza place on deck had outstanding pies as did the Italian restaurant which opened for lunch. We attended the Italian restaurant for our gourmet meal (freebee from our great tour agency, American discount tours and travel) and it was outstanding.

The cabin had great comfortable beds and we slept soundly and had no trouble with sea sickness.

We took the train trip and a glacier visit as our excursions and both were well worth the price. The land tour to Denali was fun and informative. Service was uniformly good except for a snooty waiter in the gourmet room. The ship itself did not have the bells and whistles of more modern ships but was more the adequate for this trip.
